LWI started as home schooling in 2012 in Kokomlemle -Accra. Subsequently, the center had to obtain permission from the Ghana Education Service to start functioning as a pre-university institution in 2015 at Tema Community 9-Accra. The center is recognized and accredited by the Ghana Ministry of Education (GES).

To achieve our objectives, we have developed tools that help our students of different levels achieve these our aims. These tools are: Daily Advice, Bilingual Day, Observation, Project Day, Interview Day, Spelling Day and Karaoke.
Our teaching methods have been honed over 6 years of experience, and are focused on delivering relevant, engaging material in a friendly and inclusive manner. We mix students from all over the world to learn the mechanics of the language while engaging in lively and interesting conversati, each class having 15 students maximum.
